The Goliath Gen 2 is not for the faint of heart! With the original being created for the mighty .458 SOCOM, this silencer not only stands up to the size of its name, but also the size of its caliber. But don’t think this giant is a clumsy oaf. With an end cap and core made of Grade 5 titanium and a tube made from Grade 9 titanium, the Goliath gun silencer is a heavyweight hitter in a featherweight class. This weight savings really comes in to play when perched on the end of a hog hunter’s rifle of choice.

Taming both the noise as well as the recoil of the .458 SOCOM cartridge, the Goliath Gen 2 keeps you after game all night, instead of home early with tired shoulders and ears. When it comes to a big bore rifle can, it pays to have a giant on your side.

Features

Suppression

A true big bore gun silencer for big bore rounds, the volume and baffle construction of the Goliath Gen 2 is highly effective. At 2″ in diameter by 10″ in length, we have the volume needed to tame even powerful rounds, and using the same baffle style as the original gives us proven, excellent suppression.

User serviceable

The most commonly requested feature to be added to the original Goliath was user serviceability, so you can take apart and clean your own big bore rifle can. This allows the use of cast lead bullets, as you can now clean it out before it clogs up the bore of the silencer. All tools needed for disassembly are included.

Adaptability

Using the common, industry standard “HUB” thread size of 1.375-24, the Goliath Gen 2 is now more adaptable than ever.

Light weight

Most big bore silencer designs tend to be heavy, or loud or have restrictions on your fire rate. With the Goliath Gen 2, we decided to make it light enough to pack all day, but still add other features over the original!

Strength

Intended for calibers like the .458 SOCOM, .450 Bushmaster, 350 Legend, and .45-70, the Goliath Gen 2 is also rated all the way up to .338 Laupa Magnum! Due to the titanium construction, the Goliath Gen 2 can hold up to high round counts in its native calibers. This means that it’ll be able to stay in service longer than the rifle to which it’s mounted!

Caliber ratings

The Goliath Gen 2 is rated for many big-bore rounds, and in many cases can be used on short barrels as well.

Medium sized big bore rounds

  • .458 SOCOM
  • .450 Bushmaster
  • .375 SOCOM

These can be fired on barrels as short as 10.5″

Standard big bore rounds

  • .45 Raptor
  • .45-70
  • .444 Marlin

These can be used with barrels that are at least 14″ long

Magnum / precision rifle rounds

  • .338 Lapua Magnum
  • .338 Norma Magnum
  • .338 Weatherby Magnum

These can be used on barrels that are at least 24″ long

Silencer only
  • Silencer only includes the silencer and the disassembly wrench. Perfect if you’re wanting to get just the can now and the mounts later, or if you want to use 3rd party mounting solutions.
Kit
  • The kit includes the silencer and the disassembly wrench, plus two thread adapters (one in 5/8-24, and one in 11/16-24). A great balanced choice that has you good to go right out of the box!
Bundle
  • The bundle is the ultimate option, including the silencer and the disassembly wrench, plus five thread adapters (5/8-24, 11/16-24, 5/8-32, 3/4-24 and 1/2-28), and a custom cover from Armageddon Gear! This has loads of functionality in a one stop shop option.
